Anderson Greenwood / Tank Protection Products offer a high performance alternative to spring and
weight-loaded relief devices for low pressure systems. The Series 90/9000 group of products is a very wide range of both pressure
and vacuum relief valves, primarily designed for protecting low pressure storage vessels and tanks, as well as low pressure piping
systems. They are designed to meet the requirements of ASME VIII and API 2000; many models also satisfy IMO and other marine
Series 90/9000 Low Pressure Relief Valves
The Series 90/9000 group of products is a very wide range of both pressure and vacuum relief valves, primarily
designed for protecting low pressure storage vessels and tanks, as well as low pressure piping systems. They are designed to
meet the requirements of ASME VIII and API 2000. Many models also satisfy IMO and other marine regulations. Designed
for cryogenic and non-cryogenic storage tanks, the Anderson Greenwood / Crosby Series 90/9000 POPRVs provide extremely accurate
valve setting and ultra sensitive response with set pressure as low as 4” wc [10 mbarg]. The Series 9000 is also available
as a pilot operated vacuum breaker for highly sensitive and air-tight vacuum service.
Connections: 2" x 3" to 12" x 16"
Inlet Flange Ratings: ANSI 125, 150 Temperature Range: -320°F to +200°F [-296°C
Minimum Pressure: 4" wc [10 mbarg]
Series 9700 Severe Service Vents
The Anderson Greenwood / Crosby Type 9700 is designed for emergency vent applications and combines the simplicity of a weight-loaded
device with the performance of a pilot operated pressure relief valve. The design, built on Anderson Greenwood / Crosby’s
25 years of experience in low pressure safety relief valves, offers several significant and unique advantages over traditional
weight-loaded vents. The 9700 is specially designed for emergency vent applications and combines the simplicity of a weight-loaded
device with performance levels comparable to that of POPRVs. The 9700 is ideally suited for toxic/corrosive storage tank applications
with liquids such as hydrochloric acid, methylene chloride, ethylene dichloride or phosphorus trichloride.
Sizes: 12", 18", 20", 24"
Temperature Range: -20°F to +250°F [-29°C to +121°C]
Pressure Range: 4" wc to 1 psig [10 mbarg to 69 mbarg]
Vacuum Setting: 1 oz, 2 oz, 3oz, 4 oz [4.3 mbarg, 8.6 mbarg, 12.9 mbarg, 17.2 mbarg]
Tank Blanketing Regulators
Tank Blanketing provides an inert gas blanket over the liquid in a liquid storage tank. The Anderson Greenwood / Crosby Trans-Zero
Regulator is a pilot operated, dome-loaded diaphragm type regulator capable of reducing blanketing gas from 14 barg to 12.5
mm wc in a single step providing bubble-tight shut off and low maintenance costs.
Connections: 1/2", 1", 2" threaded (NPT) and flanged ANSI 150, 300, 600
Temperature Range: -20°F to +300°F [-29°C to +149°C]
Maximum Inlet Pressure: 200 psig [14 barg]
Blanket Pressure Range: 0.5" wc to 6 psig [12.7 mm wc to 0.4 barg]
